I am not new to the chiropractor laser market, but I was wondering if the prices of Class IV
laser were worth the result. Primarily it seems that wavelength and the power
of the units are touted, and also the super-pulsed mode seems important.

I have had experience with chiropractic inexpensive Class III and Class IV units and while
they were clinically significant, I felt that they were no better than EMS or US
as far as passive modality was concerned.

Two units that seem most promising to me are TerraQuant with the laser shower
head (50 watts!) and the K-Laser. K-Laser has more features and more
adjustable, while the TerraQuant has way more power. But the TQ is about 1/3
the price of the K-Laser. And the TQ is Class III. What the heck is going on?
A Class III with more power than a Class IV at a cheaper price? Is there some
difference in diodes?

I’ve heard at a seminar that certain laser manufacturer sells lasers with the
same diode as the ones you find at laser levels found at home depot. The
instructor said that becasue by law you have to state what kind of diodes the
laser has on the unit, you can figure out what kind of diodes a laser has. Can
you imagine paying thousands of dollars for a $20 laser level? There seems to
be a lot of gimmicks in the laser market right now. Can anyone clear this up?
Thanks.
